1. Acceptance
By creating an account or subscribing to SMS alerts from Fire Line Rural Response, a service operated by Vintage Five, LLC ("Fire Line", "we", "us"), you agree to these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy.
2. Not a substitute for 911
Fire Line Rural Response is a coordination tool for rural fire communities. It is NOT a substitute for 911 or any official emergency service. In a life-threatening emergency, call 911 first. We make no guarantee of message delivery, response time, or availability of resources.
3. Eligibility & accounts
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You are responsible for the accuracy of information you submit and for activity under your account.
4. SMS messaging program
By providing your mobile number and confirming the verification code, you consent to receive recurring automated SMS messages from Fire Line Rural Response related to wildfire incidents and coordination in your area. Consent is not a condition of any purchase.
- Message frequency: varies with wildfire activity; typically 0–10 messages per month.
- Message and data rates may apply. Check your carrier plan.
- To opt out: reply STOP to any message. You will receive a single confirmation that you have been unsubscribed.
- For help: reply HELP or email bo@govintagefive.com.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- We will not share, sell, rent, or lease your mobile number to any third party for their own marketing purposes. See the Privacy Policy for details.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Submit false, misleading, or harassing incident reports.
- Upload content you do not have rights to share.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service or other accounts.
- Use the service to send commercial or unrelated communications.
We may suspend or remove accounts that violate these terms.
6. Content you submit
You retain ownership of incident reports, photos, and updates you submit. You grant Fire Line Rural Response a non-exclusive license to display and distribute that content within the service to other approved members and SMS subscribers for the purpose of fire coordination.
7. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fire Line Rural Response and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of property, data, or life arising out of your use of (or inability to use) the service.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
